Liberty’s story
Cold morning, march
It's freezing, but we're marching. My Liberty sweatshirt — premium, heavyweight — keeps me warm. The Liberté print is bold across my chest. I am a billboard for freedom. The cold can't touch this.
Campus, tabling
We're registering voters. My sweatshirt sparks conversations. 'Liberté?' a student asks. 'Freedom,' I explain. 'For everyone.' They register. The sweatshirt did its job. Fashion as outreach.
Bonfire, beach
Night. Fire. Friends. My sweatshirt is soft from washes, the print slightly faded — loved. Someone plays guitar. We sing. The Liberté on my chest glows in the firelight. Freedom sounds like this.
Airport, red-eye
Comfort is key. My premium sweatshirt — so soft — is perfect for travel. I curl up at the gate. The Liberté print is visible. A fellow traveler nods. Solidarity in sweatshirts.
Rainy day, bookstore
I'm browsing, cozy in my sweatshirt. The rain patters outside. I find a book on queer history. The Liberté on my chest feels appropriate. We're all part of the story. I'm reading my own history.
Volunteer shift
Sorting donations. My sweatshirt — durable, premium — handles the work. The Liberté print gets compliments from other volunteers. 'Where''d you get that?' 'It''s my uniform,' I joke. 'For the revolution.'
Video call, organizing
Top half: presentable. Bottom: pajamas. My Liberty sweatshirt is the star. 'Nice sweatshirt!' says the organizer in Berlin. 'Thanks! It''s my power shirt.' We plan the global action. The sweatshirt witnesses.
Farmers market
Saturday morning. My sweatshirt, jeans, tote bag. I'm buying flowers. The vendor — an older lesbian — points to my chest. 'Liberté,' she reads. 'Damn right,' she says. We both laugh. Intergenerational joy.
Sick day
Fever. Tea. My premium sweatshirt — the softest thing I own — is my blanket. The Liberté print is a reminder: rest is resistance too. I don't have to earn my humanity. I just have to be.
Pride 26 kickoff
Tonight we launch. I'm wearing the Liberty sweatshirt from the collection — meta, I know. But it feels right. I built this. We built this. Liberté isn't just a word on a sweatshirt. It's a promise we keep.
